During West Virginia University’s ceremonies over this past weekend, men’s basketball players Kedrian “Keddy” Johnson and Pauly Paulicap graduated from the institution with degrees.

Paulicap graduated on Friday with a master’s degree in sport management, while Johnson graduated on Sunday with a bachelor’s degree in integrated studies.

Paulicap transferred to West Virginia in April 2021 from DePaul. The New York native played one season at WVU and will always be a fan favorite for his hard play on the court. Paulicap appeared in 33 games for the Mountaineers, averaging 3.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, shooting 46 percent from the field. Off the floor, Paulicap was known for being a great cook. The 6-foot-8 forward started up his own business, Pauly’s Plates, selling food to people in Morgantown.

Johnson has played the past two years at West Virginia and will return to the team for the 2022-23 season. The Dallas native started in 30 games for the Mountaineers, averaging 5.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals. Johnson was seventh in the Big 12 with 52 steals during his senior season. Johnson has one year of eligibility left.
