Panama City police identify Alabama woman as victim of fatal vehicle crash on Saturday
PANAMA CITY — Local law enforcement authorities have identified the victim of a fatal vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Panama City as an Alabama woman.
According to the Panama City Police Department, the victim was 51-year-old Starla Moore of Oxford, Alabama, who died after being transported to a local hospital.
The accident occurred Saturday afternoon near the intersection of 23rd Street and U.S. 231.

PCPD officials said Moore was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 51-year-old Robert Luna of Panama City, who was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Luna struck a vehicle driven by William Stacey of Youngstown that was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection, police said. Stacey was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.
The accident remains under investigation, police said. The crash closed the intersection for more than seven hours Saturday.
