WE’RE ON THE WRONG END OF SOME BAD BOUNCES. YOU KNOW, WE PLAYED A GREAT GAME TONIGHT. WE PLAYED SOME GOOD HKEOCY THROUGUTHO THE SERIES. WE DIDN’T GET THAT NEXT ONE TONIGHT. THAT PROBABLY WAS A DIFFERENCE, BUT I THINK EVEN WEAD H THOSE LEADS WE STILL PLAYED THE RIGHT WAY. SO THE PENGUINS LOSE GAME 7 ON THE ROAD FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THEIR HISTORY PRIOR TO TONIG.

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Brian Boyle underwent a successful surgery on his knee, the team's general manager said Monday. Ron Hextall said the procedure on Boyle’s left knee was performed at UPMC Presby. The expected recovery time is six weeks. He did not play in Sunday's Game 7 loss that knocked the Pens out of the Stanley Cup playoffs in round one.
