Constable removed for prior conviction

SHESHEQUIN TWP, BRADFORD CO, (WOLF) —
Shane Peters has officially been removed as a state constable in Bradford County. A judge made the ruling last week.

Peters is a convicted sex offender.
Despite that, he won an election with 1 write-in vote to become the constable in Sheshequin Township.
Once word got around that he been convicted of sexual abuse of a child, the county DA stepped in to try and remove him.
A judge granted the removal.
Peters is registered under Megan's Law for life.
