The national profile of Belle Vernon’s Quinton Martin continues to increase with the release of another list of top recruits in the Class of 2024.
Monday afternoon, On3 listed their updated list of the top sophomores in the country and listed Martin as No. 19 overall.
Along with being a Top 20 national recruit, On3 has Martin ranked as the No. 2 Athlete in the country and the No. 1 sophomore in Pennsylvania.
Pat Narduzzi and Pitt were the first program to offer Martin a scholarship, which took place when he was a freshman, and since then he holds offers from schools such as Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Notre Dame, Boston College, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Maryland, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Rutgers and Louisville.
Martin (6’3″, 200) currently is a running back and linebacker at Belle Vernon, but his college position could be determined by how much he grows over the next few seasons prior to entering college.
At this stage, Martin is projecting to become the highest ranked national recruit from the WPIAL since Jeannette’s Terrelle Pryor.
Hmmm. #32 for Thomas Jefferson shown. Did he transfer to Belle Vernon and switch to #25?
