Boeing plans job fair in downtown Montgomery

Aerospace manufacturer Boeing will be in Montgomery this week to look for workers.

The company said in a release that job candidates will be able to meet with hiring managers, attend informational sessions and learn how to better highlight their skills. Boeing said it's offering sign-on bonuses and relocation packages, and that it also has "many virtual positions" available.

The company said it has jobs available for engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality professionals across a wide range of skills.

The event will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the corner of Water and Commerce streets downtown, in front of the Renaissance Montgomery.
