POLICE BELIEVE THE ANIMAL CHEDAS A HOUSE-CAT INSIDE THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR. THAT’S WHEN IT ENCOUNTERED THE MAN AND ATTACKED HIM. HE MANAGED TO TRAP THE BOBCAT IN A BATHROOM BEFORE CALLING POLICE. A man from Windsor, Vermont, is recovering after he was attacked by a bobcat inside his house.Police believe the animal chased a house cat inside through the front door.That's when it encountered the man and attacked him.He managed to trap the bobcat in a bathroom before calling police. "This is a very rare and unusual circumstance. In fact, I've never seen this happen before in my career where it gained entry into someone's home and then made contact with a person. This just happened to be an unusual set of circumstances,” said Chief Jennifer Frank, of the Windsor Police Department.The animal had to be euthanized.Fish and wildlife officials are testing the bobcat for rabies and other diseases.
