We're currently in the 600 block of Sheridan Road where we're conducting *** homicide investigation. We got the call just after nine a.m. This morning on *** call of *** person down after *** wheelchair welfare check was conducted. At that time. Officers did make entry into the home and found the victim, which is an 83 year old male inside of the residence, uh, suffering with injuries consistent to what we believe to be uh, evidence from *** homeless homicide. At this time. We don't have any suspects in custody and we do believe there was possibly somebody that possibly know the victim. So we're asking for any community members in the area.
