Hi all. 🙂 I missed Friday's episode with awful cough, thought I was going to peg it. 😳 Still got cough/cold but nowhere near as bad.

    Evening all, TFTT Reets
    ----
Dr Strange 2 was good, though it could have been 'more'. It's certainly a fun film, more horror inflected than your usual Marvel movie.

Off off topic: I have to save Forces TV are quietly digging up some gems from ITV's back catalogue. Currently on Haggard featuring Reece Dinsdale in that other thing he did before Thief Takers. Then on Thursday they start showing Corrie spin-off The Brothers McGregor, which I haven't seen since the late 80's.

It baffles me that these shows (including Watching, Surgical Spirit etc) aren't being shown on ITV3. Oh well ITV's incompetence knows no bounds I suppose.

Eurovision was great! I watched it with full expectations for a Ukraine win but I'm still shocked we came second!! Can we have Sam Ryder every year please?

Norway's song was brilliantly weird and the EMO in me is disappointed The Rasmus did so poorly! :(

Currently on Haggard featuring Reece Dinsdale

Thought that was quite lame when I watched it at the time. I'd enjoyed Rising Damp, Only When I Laugh and Duty Free (all by Eric Chappell) but Haggard just never 'did it' for me.

I usually have a couple of tracks each year that I like enough to add to my playlist but I can't say that there was anything I really liked this year.

Haggard is definitely the weakest of that lot, but it's okay for an ITV sitcom. I'm just really looking forward to seeing The Brothers McGregor, the sort of show that would be called 'woke' now because of the mixed race casting of the brothers.

I may end up liking the entry from the Netherlands if I spend some time on it and listen to it some more.

I only ever bother watching Eurovision for the voting part. Though in recent years that's been waste of time.

Saturday was fun, until the public vote skewered things. Still well done to Sam Ryder for getting UK to second place.
