Karen Lee Clear, age 83, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Bethany Home in Waupaca, WI.
She was born June 10, 1938 in Clare, MI; daughter of Vernell and Eva (Hodson) Fike. Karen married Carl E. Clear, an army man, and devoted her life to caring for her daughters and moving around the country. She instilled a love of family and travel to her girls. Karen loved her work with her church and her time working with their food bank, REAP Food Pantry. She gave full-time care for her mother and brother when they needed her most. Karen will be dearly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Karen is survived by her four daughters Linda Blackwell of Tacoma, WA, June (David) Siel of Appleton, WI, Treva Bundy of Trevor, WI, and Tana (Dan) Weggel of Waupaca, WI; seven grandchildren Kara (Eric) Kocha and their children Pierce, Paige, and Parker; Jilleen (Mariah) Herber-Bundy and their children Yunalesca and Christopher; Rena (Adam Riehl) Siel and their children Kira and Dorian; Danii (Ezra Dickinson) Blackwell; Jes Blackwell; Rory O’Brien and his children Emery, Nova, Cyrus, and Stella; and Cassie (Josh Rios) O’Brien and his children Donivinn and Demetrius; two siblings Dolores Lockwood and Edwin Fike, both of Rosebush, MI; and also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Vernell and Eva Fike; a granddaughter Crystal Marie O’Brien; a brother Barry Fike; a nephew David Cluley; a sister-in-law Pat Fike; and a brother-in-law Don Lockwood.
Karen’s Celebration of Life Gathering will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Rosebush Presbyterian Church, 3914 N. Mission Road, Rosebush, MI 48878. A private family burial will take place at Memorial Gardens in Mt. Pleasant, MI. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the REAP Food Pantry, P.O. Box 112, Rosebush, MI 48878. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca, WI is assisting the family with arrangements.
Remember her in your hearts, in your thoughts, and the memories of all the times filled with love. The times we cried and all the times we laughed. For if you always think of her, she will have never gone.
