Westminster man claims record-setting $5.1M Multi-Match jackpot
time now for *** look at what's new this month with the Maryland lottery and we have Doug Lloyd joining us this morning. It's always great to see you in person. So good to be back here. You know what that means? That means scratch off tickets. That's right. We've got some new tickets. They all started at the beginning of the month, including our new family feud game with steve Harvey's face right on it. I love it. It's *** $5 game. It's got *** chance to win up to $50,000 And I love this. I believe in second chances and hopefully you should too. There's *** second chance. I went up to $50,000 and our first wrong is right around the corner May 24. Your second chance ones are always fun. It's always nice when you have an extra chance to be able to win *** home run pitches are back. Is that right? Riches, riches, riches riches. We believe it's riches. We've given away $14,000 already. This is *** contest that fans look forward to every year, lottery fans and baseball fans. And we've been watching the baseball games and having *** lot of fun. Uh, in fact, Barbara Jacobson last night won $1000 because Ryan Mount Castle hit *** home run in the ninth inning. So it's *** lot of fun. Look for that at your retailers. It's *** fast play game that gets you in there. It's our home run riches bases loaded and you can register it online through our rewards program and that's how you get selected. I think my favorite story is the vax cash because you have *** great story about *** college student who just won. That's right. So Vax cash is *** phenomenal partnership with the governor's office and the Department of health. We've been working hard to get the word out about getting your booster, getting your vaccination as well. And we've given away over *** million dollars already with this contest, including that $50,000 prize that we're gonna talk about. And there's still *** chance to win if you're over 18, you're *** Maryland resident and you've got your vaccinations and your booster, you'll have *** chance to win, you're already entered and of course there's still time we're gonna give away *** million dollars here on Tuesday that the deadline, That's that, that's when we're actually selecting folks. So you want to have the vaccination by monday and Eva have roco. She's our college senior from towson University, She's *** dance uh part of the dance team. She won $50,000. It was phenomenal story. Really nice to see her getting back to dancing with the team and of course celebrating *** big win with us. I mean, look, she's jumping for joy there. Who wouldn't what, what *** great way. She has *** little nest egg to start after college, which is awesome. So, but you winners are always the most fun part. So tell us about your winners. They are. Yeah. So we've got *** bunch of winners here that have been coming in. Uh lots of wins paul and Theresa heart. So from Conowingo they won *** million dollars catching that wave with mega millions here. $1 million. Very nice legally this is kind of fun. She won *** free fast play ticket. We have this spring fling thing where you can get *** fast plate instantly. And her free ticket was what she actually won $30,000 off of, wow, I didn't even pay for it. She won 30 grand. That's nice. And back to second chances. We got ricardo, celadon, celadon. He he's from Catonsville, he won our monopoly second chance which has *** rolling cash jackpot. So $57,296 and you can still win two. We've got lots of drawings left up with that. So visit MD lottery dot com for all those details and then you're in person. Two people can come spin the wheel, get some free prizes. We are part of, you know, coming out of our, our hibernation, we're back to events and we've got some fun ones. We're gonna be in Baltimore for tacos and taps today and on sunday we're gonna be out at the Frederick running festival. So lots of fun in store with the lottery.
