A man is dead after being shot in Westwood.It happened around 9:45 a.m. Friday when officers responded to the 3100 block of Westbrook Drive for a reported shooting. When they got to the scene, they found a man, identified as Ernie Allen, 40, suffering from gunshot wounds.Allen was taken to UC Medical Center where he dies from his injuries.The investigation is ongoing.
