Rochester man facing drugs, weapons charges

(ABC 6 News) — A Rochester man was arrested on Friday, May 13 after the Rochester Police Department said he was in possession of illegal guns and drugs.

Police were first called to the 1500 block of Bahama Ct. NW around 11 a.m. for reports of gunshots. Someone said a woman shot a rifle at a man.
When police got there, they didn’t find anyone who had been shot. They did find a 9mm shell casing on the ground.

They eventually made contact with a woman inside the home. She told police she accidentaly fired a round into the ground, but didn’t hit anybody. She said she threatened to harm herself. Police brought her to the hospital to get help with her mental health needs.

After searching the home, officers said they found a small amount of methamphetamine as well as four guns. Police said three of the guns were "ghost guns" which means they have no serial numbers. Both the woman and man who live in the home are not allowed to have firearms because of criminal history.

Later, police found the man who lives in the home walking in the area nearby and arrested him. Police identified him as 38-year-old Ryan Moulton. He’s facing charges of possession of a firearm, possession of a short-barrelled machine gune, domestic assault, and drug poessession.
