It seems like paranormal TV shows are all the rage these days.  The Travel Channel should really rename itself.  This TV channel is no longer about vacation spots and travel destinations.  Instead, the channel features shows like "The Dead Files", "Ghost Hunters", "A Haunting", "Expedition Bigfoot", "Portals to Hell", "Paranormal Caught on Cameral", and so many more.

I find myself flipping through the channels and occasionally stopping on one of these programs.  I have kind of a love/hate relationship with scary shows.  I sometimes like to creep myself out, but I'm also easily freaked out, so I have to watch these shows in moderation if you know what I mean.

According to the website Great Lakes Stakes, North Dakota is one of the more likely places to experience a UFO or a ghost.  In fact, we come in at number 11 in the country, according to their data or reported UFOs, ghosts, or sightings of the supernatural.  BOO!

Speaking of UFOs, I'm certainly not saying that little green men were in this oval-shaped craft that I spotted spring goose hunting this year, but I'm still not sure exactly what this is.  Have a look for yourself.

This is not the first time I've had an encounter with a UFO.  However, this is the first time I've been able to capture evidence of it.

As far as ghosts and other supernatural events, I haven't had many experiences.  I was working in my basement one time when something just flew off the shelf and I don't mean just fell off.  It literally flew from one side of the room to the other.  I wish I would've had that on camera.  There is no explanation for that one.

So, keep your camera phone handy, because you never know when you might catch paranormal caught on camera.  As it turns out, you're in a state where it happens frequently.
