WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) – Join The Children’s Museum of Wilmington June 24th and 25th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for their annual Mud Day event.

The messy fun is sponsored by Medac Urgent Care.

This two day event encourages children and their caregivers to connect with the earth, learn more about soil, and discover the messy joy that comes from playing in the mud.

On Friday, New Hanover County Soil and Water Conservation will have different kinds of local soils for kids to explore and learn about.

Both days Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will be making water filters with the kiddos.

Other activities to look forward to include playing with Magic Mud, cooking in the Mud Kitchen, playing with ‘quicksand’ and more.

Mud Day tickets are free for ACM and Anytime members.

Tickets are $5 for Navigator, Adventurer, Explorer, and Weekday members.

Non member tickets are $9.75 for everyone over the age of twelve months.

Tickets must be purchased online prior to the event due to limited capacity.
