Indiana police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who assaulted a driver while at a traffic light in Lawrenceburg.In a post on their Facebook page, the Greendale Police Department says on Sunday evening around 5:55 p.m., officers responded to an auto accident at Lorey Lane and US 50 in Greendale.The department says minutes before the accident, the driver of one of the vehicles involved, a black BMW convertible, was assaulted by a man driving a motorcycle at US 50 and Hollywood Blvd.The driver that was assaulted lost consciousness, causing his car to travel east on US 50, hitting a truck.The victim described the suspect as being 40-years-old, had a mustache and was around 6 feet 1 inch tall and weigh 230 pounds.Anyone who may have witnessed the assault or has any information to help identify the motorcyclist is asked to call 812-537-1321.
