Cedar Falls High School has hired new boys and girls cross country coaches.
Brett Egan has been hired to coach the Tigers boys team while Leah Jennings has been hired to coach the Tiger girls.
Egan has been with the Cedar Falls school district since 2020. Prior to Cedar Falls, Brett was head girls cross country and assistant boys track coach at Waukon. He was an All-Conference performer in cross country and track at UNI.
Jennings has been an assistant coach for the girl’s cross country team the last four years and assistant girl’s track coach for two years. She was also head coach for the junior high girls cross country team for one year and is currently a mathematics teacher at Cedar Falls High School. During her collegiate and prep career, she ran cross country and track at UNI and at Cedar Falls.
