MSP: 50-year-old Macomb County man attending Blessing of the Bikes killed in motorcycle crash

CHESTERFIELD TWP. (WWJ) -- A Macomb County man was killed after a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Sunday morning.

Michigan State Police say the 50-year-old man from Chesterfield Township died after his motorcycle went off a road and crashed into a tree in Peacock Township, just east of Ludington, on the west side of the state.

MSP says the crash happened at approximately 12:18 a.m. on M-37.

He was pronounced dead at the scene

WWJ Newsradio 950's Erin Vee says the man was attending the Blessing of the Bikes in west Michigan.

The cause of this incident is under further investigation
