Rise and shine, it’s fishing time!

CANTON - Camp Big Sky is hosting their 13th Annual Fishing Tournament Saturday, May 21 at Giant Goose Ranch 25369 N Goose Ranch Rd, Canton.

The Camp Big Sky Tournament pairs individuals with disabilities with experienced tournament fisherman in a Bass Masters style competition that provides a memorable experience.

Participants are recognized in a Parade of Boats, Weigh-in Ceremony, and receive a t-shirt & trophy while helping to raise funds to operate Camp Big Sky.

This event is open to the public. Several free family-friendly activities such as bank fishing, face painting, lawn games, kite flying, crafts, and pontoon boat rides will be available to everyone who attends. The fishing tournament kicks off at 8 a.m. and the parade of boats and weigh-in ceremony begins at 10:30am.

The Canton Elks Lodge will provide food that will be available on site for a donation. Raffle Tickets are available to purchase with many valuable prizes to win!

Camp Big Sky is a nonprofit organization available at no charge, to any person of any age with any disability and their family members, friends and caregivers that provides opportunities to access, discover, learn and enjoy the outdoors. Participating in this event helps continue to make the outdoors available to people with disabilities to live a life like any other; just like everybody else.
