Police seek public’s help in locating missing woman, 32, last seen in South Coatesville

SOUTH COATESVILLE — Police are looking for a woman who has been missing since May 14 and is at risk of harm or injury and may be confused,

Laura Pearce, 32, was last seen at her grandmother’s house, in the first block of Bay Street in South Coatesville on May 14 at 10 p.m. She weighs 150 pounds, stands 4 feet, 9 inches tall, has brown hair and green eyes, and may have a zebra print bag with her.

Over the weekend, first responders from Modena, Wagontown, Po Mar Lin, Thorndale, Westwood and Friendship Fire Company Diving-Rescue Unit were on the scene utilizing ATVs and drones to search the area around Bay Street, as well as multiple people checking on foot. K-9s were also put into service, and firefighters from the Steel Mill also checked the entire property.

On Sunday afternoon, first responders from Wagontown used ATVs to assist Modena Fire Co. in an attempt to locate the missing woman.

Authorities said Pearce is intellectually disabled and is unable to give consent or make decisions on her own. She is also very emotional. She does not have money, a cellphone or identification.
