One killed in east Birmingham crash

One person is dead and another taken to the hospital after a two-car crash in east Birmingham.

The crash happened at East View Blvd and Five Mile Road.

The Birmingham Police Department says the intersection will be closed for a while. Please avoid the area if possible.
