Dallas Center – Grimes athletics have a very busy Monday on their plate with multiple teams competing, some for postseason while others are opening their season.

In golf, the boys will be having Blake Perrin competing at Oneota Golf and Country Club in Decorah with hopes of making it to the state meet. Perrin was able to fire a 79 in sectionals, and will be hoping for a good round. Tee time is at 10 am.

The girls golf team will have a 9 hole match today against Perry and Winterset at Lakeview Country Club in Winterset. It will be a tune up before postseason play later this week, the event to begin at 4 pm.

The boys baseball team will be having their season opener at Ballard tonight, as the Mustangs look to start the season on the right foot. The Mustangs finished 18-17 last year, as they will be looking for another winning season.

Busy day for DCG athletics, as they look for strong results across the board.
