Guardians of the Galaxy's Karen Gillan marries Nick Kocher

Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan and stand-up and writer Nick Kocher have tied the knot. Congratulations, both!

Karen, who Marvel fans will best know as Nebula, married Nick earlier this month, with the couple celebrating their big day at Castle Toward in Argyll, Scotland.

According to The Sun, Karen and Nick – who writes for the likes of Saturday Night Live and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia – exchanged their vows in front of family, friends, and even Karen's former Doctor Who boss Steven Moffat.

Neither Karen nor Nick have yet to confirm their big day on social media, but here's hoping we'll catch a glimpse of an official wedding snap or two soon. After all, who doesn't love a wedding?

Meanwhile, in an alternate timeline, Karen recently opened up about her future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after wrapping filming on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.

Ahead of the sequel's release next year, Karen admitted that she's unsure whether she'll reprise her role of Nebula in the future.

"I don't know if Nebula will return beyond this, it's possible that this is her final chapter," she told fans via Instagram. "And if that's the case, then I just want to say thank you to @jamesgunn for giving me such an interesting, complex and fascinating character to play.

"I have enjoyed this exploration more than any other character I've played. That was one hell of a decade. Thanks for watching."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1 and Vol 2 are available now. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is coming to Disney+ later this year, and then Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 arrives on May 5, 2023.
