Her penchant for mussed-up, lived-in texture means it’s rare to see the singer with hair that is sleek and straight – but for an NBC dinner in New York City on Sunday, she paired a black silk mini dress with exactly that.
Cyrus’s undeniably ladylike new lob (or long bob) sits an inch or so below her collarbone. Styled in a side-parting, and with texture that’s straighter and sleeker than anything we’ve seen from Miley in a long time, her hair feathered around her jawline.
Smooth and straight her hair may be, but Cyrus never really parts with her rock ’n’ roll aesthetic entirely. Her peroxide blonde shade still out in force, the singer also showed off a grungey root shadow, as well as a near-black shade through the lower layers of her haircut.
