A Gassville woman pled guilty to several charges against her and was sentenced to three years in prison during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court recently.

Fifty-two-year-old Nancy Willett was stopped by an Arkansas State Police trooper August 1 last year for a minor traffic violation.

During the stop, things got worse for Willett when she was found to be in possession of a handgun. As a convicted felon, Willett is not allowed to be in contact with weapons.

The trooper also found that her driver’s license was suspended, she had an active Mountain Home Police Department arrest warrant for leaving the scene of an accident and had no insurance on the vehicle.
