UPDATE, 5/23: Opelousas Police are continuing the search for a missing 16-year-old girl. According to Opelousas Police Major Mark Guidry, Alaya Robinson is still believed to be in the Opelousas area, with police receiving information that she may be at a residence in the southwestern part of town. Robinson has continued to avoid contact with her parents, according to Guidry.
ORIGINAL POST, 5/16: OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY)– Opelousas Police are asking for the community’s help locating Alaya Robinson, 16. Alaya was reported missing on Saturday, May 14 by her mother after a disagreement. Alaya is approximately 5’5″ and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt, grey jogging pants and black & white Nike shoes.
