The Missouri legislature was able to tout a few accomplishments in this year's regular session, but several bills that were priorities for some members failed to pass.

Among them were legalized sports gambling, a ban on transgender high school athletes and recreational marijuana legalization. Despite Republican infighting that bogged down the Senate, legislators did get some priority items through, such as a new congressional map, limiting restrictions on hospital visitors and voter ID requirements.
