Northeast Ohio weather: A few pop-up storms early in the evening; cooler through Wednesday
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - While this morning’s showers have moved off to our east, we aren’t totally done with rainfall just yet today.
As a secondary cold front moves through our area late this afternoon and into the evening, a few pop-up showers will develop.
Some of these will have the potential to produce heavy rain, brief gusty winds, and small hail.
The hit or miss showers and storms will come to an end by 8:00 PM.
Skies will clear out overnight, allowing temperatures to plummet into the 40s by tomorrow morning.
Temperatures will remain below normal through the middle of the week.
Expect highs in the low to mid 60s Tuesday and Wednesday.
(Typical highs this time of the year are in the low 70s.)
We’ll begin to warm back up again on Thursday.
The 19 First Alert Weather Team is forecasting highs in the mid 70s on Thursday afternoon.
Friday will be the warmest day of the week.
Temperatures will soar into the upper 80s!
