Amanda Majeski, Elizabeth Caballero & Craig Irvin Lead Madison Opera’s 2022-23 Season

The Madison Opera in Wisconsin has announced its 2022-23 season featuring three productions.

The season opens with Strauss’ “Salome” starring Amanda Majeski, Craig Irvin, Dennis Petersen, Lauren Decker, and Chaz’men Williams-Ali. John DeMain conducts the production by Keturah Stickann.

Performance Dates: Nov. 4 & 6, 2022

The company will present a double bill of Bernstein’s “Trouble in Tahiti” and Kurt Weill’s “The Seven Deadly Sins.” The operas will star Rehanna Thelwell, Chris Kenney, Conor McDonald, and Kanopy Dance. John DeMain conducts the production by Kristine McIntyre.

Performance Dates: Feb. 3 & 5, 2023

Jasmine Habersham, Elizabeth Caballero, Matt Boehler, Michael Adams, and Kirsten Lippart lead Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” with Stephanie Rhodes-Russell conducting and Dan Rigazzi directing.

Performance Dates: April 28 & 30, 2023
