Warsaw teen dies in Oxford Township crash

NEWCOMERSTOWN — A teenager from Warsaw died in a single vehicle traffic crash Sunday afternoon in Oxford Township. 

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office said Timothy Crosby, 18, was traveling westbound on Township Road 256 at 3:14 p.m. when he lost control rounding a curve in a 1999 Toyota. The vehicle went off the left side of the roadway, into a ditch and then struck an embankment. The Toyota overturned. 

Crosby sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by the Coshocton County Coroner's Office. Two juvenile passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for treatment, authorities said. 

Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, REACT, West Lafayette Fire Department and Prince's Wrecker Service.
