Man, woman severely burned after escaping house fire Sunday

Investigators said two dogs have yet to be accounted for

Omaha fire officials say a man and woman were severely burned at a house fire early Sunday. It happened near 32nd and Jefferson around 3:30 a.m. Crews arrived at the scene and saw smoke and flames. Shortly after, investigators said the fire was extinguished.Two residents were able to escape the fire before crews arrived. "The homes adjacent to it both have a little bit of damage to them, mostly just exterior damage," Battalion Chief John Stolinski said. Two dogs have yet to be accounted for at this time.

Crews arrived at the scene and saw smoke and flames. Shortly after, investigators said the fire was extinguished.

Two residents were able to escape the fire before crews arrived.

"The homes adjacent to it both have a little bit of damage to them, mostly just exterior damage," Battalion Chief John Stolinski said.

Two dogs have yet to be accounted for at this time.
