Northeast Missouri father, son killed when ejected during crash

NEAR ADAIR, Mo. —
A father and son from northeast Missouri were killed Saturday morning when they were ejected from pickup truck during a crash.

The one-vehicle wreck happened at 9:35 a.m. on Adair County Route J, two miles northwest of Adair, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the victims as Robert Patchin, 80, and Charles Patchin, 54, both of Brashear.
State troopers say a pickup driven by Charles Patchin was northbound on Route J, when the truck ran off the right side of the roadway, became airborne and struck a river embankment.
Both men were ejected. They were pronounced dead at the scene by the Adair County coroner.
