Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks have never won a road game in their 2022 playoffs series against the Phoenix Suns … that is until Game 7. The Mavs put their best foot forward and never gave Phoenix the chance to put up a fight as they destroyed the West's top seeds, 123-90.

Naturally, everyone in the NBA was in awe of the Mavs' incredible display of offensive firepower and lockdown defense. The Suns scored just 27 points in the first half of the contest, which is just how many Doncic scored in the first half.

Luka ended up with 35 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in just 30 minutes of action. And according to ESPN Stats & Info, he is the second-youngest player to record 35 and 10 in a Game 7. Only Tom Heinsohn did it at a younger age when he was 22 years old.

That's right. Not even the likes of LeBron James, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant did it at such a young age.

It just goes to show how special Luka Doncic is. People often forget that he's just 23 years old, but he has single-handedly carried the Mavs to the playoffs time and time again. This 2022, he had more help, but there is no doubt he was the deciding factor in their run to the West Finals.

The Mavs will be facing a more difficult task in the West Finals as they play the Golden State Warriors. Nonetheless, Dallas fans will be brimming with confidence knowing they have the best player remaining in the postseason.
