An investigation is underway after a weekend shooting in the Upstate. Around 5 Pm Sunday evening, the Greer PD responded to a reported shooting at the McDonald's on Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors. While police were in route the suspects fled the scene of the shooting.

Police say that a vehicle in the parking lot and the window of a nearby business were struck with gunfire. One person was inside the business and was treated for a minor injury suffered in the incident. No arrests have been announced and the incident remains under investigation. Anyone with info is asked to contact the Greer PD at 848-2151.
