BANGOR(WGME)—A 19-year-old Brewer man, who had warrants out for his arrest, is accused of leading police on a chase, topping speeds of 100 miles an hour before crashing into a garage on Saturday.

Police say troopers called off the chase from Hermon into Bangor for safety reasons then found the truck had crashed into a garage on Randolph Street in Bangor.

They say they found the driver,19-year-old Preston Kay, hiding inside the garage.
He suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized.
Kay, who had a suspended license and warrants for for his arrest, is facing multiple charges, including OUI, operating after suspension, and criminal speed.
