SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) On Sunday, Congressman Richard Neal addressed families who sons and daughters aspire to attend one of the nation’s military academies after high school.
Outlining the procedures at the Museum of Springfield history, the Congressman told 22News he takes pride helping these young people do what’s necessary to continue their education at a military academy.
Congressman Neal said, “We now, after all these years, have had hundreds of students into military academies. But the country will be well represented with the caliber of these young men and women.”
The Congressman will eventually nominate a limited number of Western Massachusetts high school students to their choice of one of the nation’s four military academies.
