OHIO, USA — A 72-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car late Saturday night in Richland County.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says Neil Miller, of Lexington, was walking on U.S. Route 42 in Madison Township between the Route 30 ramps when he was struck by a northbound vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Fire and EMS crews rushed to the area, but Miller was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the car has been identified as a 40-year-old man who is also from Lexington. Officials are investigating the incident and no criminal charges have been filed at this time.
