BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A precautionary boil water advisory which was issued by the Beckley Water Company on Saturday, May 14, 2022 for several locations throughout Beckley, including areas along Harper Road and Circleview Drive, has been lifted as of Sunday, May 15, 2022.
The advisory, which was issued due to a broken main line, pertains to 194 through 383 Light Edition including Dolphin Lane, 323 through 788 Circleview Drive including all side streets, 3068 Harper Road to the end of the system, including Purity Hill, Allentown, Virginiatown, Rossi, Stoots Road, Upper Sandlick and all other side streets, also including 211 and 193 Donald Street.

Beckley Water Company has lifted a precautionary boil water advisory issued on 5-14-2022 for 194 through 383 Light Edition including Dolphin Lane, 323 through 788 Circleview Drive including all side streets, 3068 Harper Road to the end of the system, this includes Purity Hill, Allentown, Virginiatown, Rossi, Stoots Road, Upper Sandlick and all other side streets, also including 211 and 193 Donald Street. The notice was issued due to a broken main line. Results of water quality testing have confirmed that water quality meets drinking water standards, and there is no further need to boil water prior to consumption.
