SATURDAY NIGHT AFTER SEVEN, SOMEONE CALLED BIRMINGHAM POLICE TO I-5920 NEAR THE ARKADELPHIA. EXIT OFFICERS FOUND 38 YEARLD O JUSTIN ANDREW SNOW DEAD IN HIS 2008 WHITE FORD EDGE A FEW DAYS LATER POLICE HEAV YET TO FIGURE OUT WHO THE SHOOTER IS WE HAVE MADE SOME HEADWAY IN TSHI CASE, BUT WE NEED THE ASSISTANCE OF THE PUBLIC AS AAYSLW THAT ASSISTANCE SERGETAN RODARIUS. MALDEN SAYS CAN COME THROUGH SOMEONE SENDING IN VIDEO. WE KNOW THAT’S A WELL TRAVELED AREA ON THE INTERSTATE. SO THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A TRUCK DRIVER OR SOMEBODY WITH SOME FORM OF DASH CAM THAT SIMPLY PROVIDE A LITTLE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MOLDEN SAYS THE BIRMINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT’S MOBILE APP COULD BE THEIR CEAS BREAKER WITHOUT GIVING YOUR NAME. YOU CAN TELL OFFICERS WTHAOU Y SAW OR HEARD AROUND 7 TO 7:45 SATURDAY NHTIG IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING SUCH AS A VEHICLE DESCRIPTION OR THE AMOUNTF O GUNSHOTS GUNFIRE THAT YOU POSSIBLY HEARD THAT NIGHT CALL US IS A GREAT RESOURCE FOR US TO CONNECT WITH THE COMMUNITY. DEPARTMENTAS H DEALT WITH DRIVERS INTENTIONALLY TARGETING AND SHOOTING ONE ANOTHER. 4 BUT THIS PARTICULAR CASE INVESTIGATORS SAY APPEARS TO BE DIFFERENT. WE DON’T KNOW THE ACTUAL MOTIVE, BUT WE’RE NOT RULGIN OUT ANYTHING SUCH AS ROAD RAGE AND WE’RE EXPLORING ALL OPTIONS. NOW OTHER OPTIONS SERGEANTS. MAULDIN TELLS ME INCLUDES TRAFFIC CAMERAS ALONG THE INTERSTATE TOO. SO THEY’RE LOOKING INTO THAT POLICE SAY ANYONE WHO HAS INFORMATION CAN ALSO CALL THEIR CRIME STOPPERS NUMBER. Police are asking anyone with dashcam video of the area to contact them.

UPDATE: December 1, 2022: The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) is asking for the public's help in getting information about this homicide investigation.The BPD says detectives believe the shooting suspect was travelling in a red vehicle.If you have information relating to this investigation, please call the BPD Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764.--------------------------------------------Birmingham police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 59/20 Saturday night that left a man dead.Detectives believe 38-year-old Justin Andrew Snow of Warrior was driving in the southbound lanes in a 2008 white Ford Edge when he was shot near the Arkadelphia Road exit.Police are asking anyone who has dashcam footage of their travel on Interstate 59/20 southbound coming from Birmingham's "downtown area" between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. Saturday night to contact them. Detectives say it does not matter if you think it is important video, they would still like to look at it. Call them at 205-254-1764 or call Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

Birmingham police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 59/20 Saturday night that left a man dead.

Detectives believe 38-year-old Justin Andrew Snow of Warrior was driving in the southbound lanes in a 2008 white Ford Edge when he was shot near the Arkadelphia Road exit.

Police are asking anyone who has dashcam footage of their travel on Interstate 59/20 southbound coming from Birmingham's "downtown area" between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. Saturday night to contact them.
