SCHP: 1 dead, others injured after collision on US-15 in Orangeburg Co.

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) —
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a collision Saturday which left one person dead and others injured.

Troops responded to US-15 near Mims Lake Road around 4:01 p.m.
According to troopers, the collision was caused when a Honda Accord made a left turn in front of a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 pulling a pontoon boat down US-15.
The three passengers in the Honda Accord were all injured. One person suffered fatal injuries. The other two were transported to Regional Medical Center.
The driver of the GMC was not injured.
Information on the deceased has not yet been released by the Orangeburg County Coroner's Office.
