RECAP: Wyoming 4A Regional Soccer from 5/14

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - 4A regionals has now concluded, with each of the final four teams knowing how they’ll be seeded for state.

In 4A East, Sheridan managed to take home the top seed thanks to Dane Steel’s goal in the dying minutes of regulation time. The goal turned out to be the only one in the contest, lifting the Broncs to a 1-0 victory over Laramie.

Elsewhere, Jackson’s 4-0 victory over Kelly Walsh lifted them to the top spot in the 4A West Boys side, while Jackson and Cheyenne East will be the top representative for their respective conference.

Girls

West

Final: Rock Springs 3 Natrona County 2 (Championship)

Final: Jackson 3 Kelly Walsh 1 (3rd place match)

East

Final: Thunder Basin 2 Sheridan 1 (5-3 in shootout) (Championship)

Final: Cheyenne East 1 Laramie 0 (3rd place match)

Boys

West

Final: Jackson 4 Kelly Walsh 0 (Championship)

Final: Rock Springs 3 Star Valley 1 (3rd place match)

East
