Henry Cavill shares his “essential gym buddies” on Instagram
On Instagram there are a few things we can count on, and posts about food and dogs are at the top of that list. And when it comes to posts from Henry Cavill, one thing we are always on the lookout for are in fact new posts about his dog, Kal.
In a new sponsored post from Cavill, in which he promoted the brand Muscle Tech, he actually gave us exactly what we always want to see – more of Kal. In fact, the actor really did keep things very simple with this post, both in terms of the picture and the caption.
For the caption of his post, Henry Cavill wrote “My two essential gym buddies.” He then added some tags that corresponded to the post, including the very simple “#Kal.” And of course, the picture itself was basically a lidded cup with the name of the brand on it sitting on the floor of a gym next to Kal.

For Kal’s part, the adorable pup looks both very serious and also a bit bored with the whole photography thing. But honestly, we are just here for the fact that we are getting another great picture of the pup on the heels of the recent appreciation post from Cavill, where he called Kal “the guardian of my soul.”
At the time, it was clear that the actor was reminding people of just how special Kal really is to him and as fans of both Henry Cavill and his dog, we appreciate the reminder. It was also a beautiful tribute to the American Akita who has been at his owner’s side for years no matter where in the world they end up.
No matter what type of post it is, we love to see pictures and videos of Kal popping up on the actor’s Instagram account. And we are definitely not complaining about two posts in less than a month (closer to two weeks actually).
