INSIDE THE 18: Patryk Klimala Returns to Starting XI vs. Philadelphia

Patryk Klimala is back in the Starting XI, paired up top with Tom Barlow, as New York takes on Philadelphia Union for the top of the Eastern Conference on Saturday night.

Klimala has missed the last handful of games due to MLS' health and safety protocols.

Luquinhas and Omir Fernandez support the attack, while Dru Yearwood and Frankie Amaya anchor the defensive midfield.

This will be the 32nd overall regular season meeting between New York and Philadelphia, with the Red Bulls holding the advantage in the series with a 14-10-7 mark.

Along the back line, John Tolkin, Sean Nealis, Dylan Nealis and Tom Edwards stick in front of Carlos Coronel in net.

Sean Nealis will serve as captain.

Luquinhas scored the game-winning goal in New York’s 3-0 fourth round Open Cup victory over D.C. United. He registered an assist in the match on Tolkin goal, and the Brazilian has tallied two goals and four assists across all competitions, which leads the club.

New York will have Jesus Castellano, Daniel Edelman, Cameron Harper, Aaron Long, Jason Pendant and Zach Ryan on the bench, with Ryan Meara serving as backup goalkeeper.

Lewis Morgan will miss the match due to league health and safety protocols, while Ashley Fletcher will be held out due to a knock.
