Patrick Beverley is without a doubt one of the feistiest individuals in the NBA today. However, despite his highly-competitive nature, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard also knows how to call a spade a spade. This is exactly what Beverley did when he made his prediction about Sunday's Game 7 bout between the Mavs and the Suns.

According to Beverley, he has to go with Luka Doncic and the Mavs for this one. His reason? Well, it's because Pat Bev admits that Doncic has had his number whenever they faced each other on the basketball court:

“I just faced him last year, boy was cooking me. Gotta go with Luka,” Beverley said (h/t CltutchPoints on Twitter). “Got to. He's played in Game 7. Besides CP, I don't think anyone on the roster has played in a Game 7… I have to go with Luka, man. He's been playing well. And you know, Dallas win on the road.”

To be fair, not too many defenders find success against the Mavs superstar — not even Patrick Beverley.

The Timberwolves veteran also brings up an excellent point about experience playing a major role on Sunday night. As he said, not too many players on the Suns' roster have played in a Game 7, which could give the advantage to Luka Doncic and Co. The Mavs have been through their fair share of do-or-die Game 7 bouts and this could give them the edge on Sunday.
