It was sweet revenge for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Friday night as they ended the season of the Memphis Grizzlies following a 110-96 Game 6 victory. The Dubs have now successfully redeemed themselves after facing a similar fate at the hands of Ja Morant and Co. last season.

Last year, it was the Grizzlies that took out the Warriors in the Play-In game en route to booking their place as the eighth seed in the playoffs. After that heartbreaking loss, Curry sent out a bold warning to Morant and the rest of his team, which has now amazingly come to fruition:

“You don't want to see us next year,” Curry said around this same time last season.

Sounds to me like Stephen Curry remembers that moment well. The Warriors superstar used that loss as motivation to close out a relentless Grizzlies side in what was a truly epic battle through six games.

If you pay close attention to the video, it is clear that Curry's tone changed right before he sent out his warning. His face turned serious and he paused for a few seconds before delivering his message. It's as if you could see the heartbreak in his face while also noticing the fire he had in his eyes.

Steph is a man of his word and the Warriors star just delivered on his promise.
