Real Madrid fans are confident Kylian Mbappe will be a Merengue at the end of the 2021/22 season, as he is expected to finally officially announce his decision when the Ligue 1 campaign ends for PSG against Metz on May 21.

The week before the last game, the Parisians faced Montpellier, 13th in the league, on the road. And once again, Mbappe shined brighter than anyone else on the pitch, setting up Lionel Messi for two delightful first-half assists. Those were Messi’s fifth and sixth goals of the season, with the majority of the summer transfer’s goals coming from assists crafted by the Frenchman.

Those assists gave Mbappe 17 on the campaign, to go with his outrageous 24 goals. Mbappe is quietly an elite playmaker, and while the world does not talk enough about that, this has not been lost on Real Madrid fans.

They were full of praise and adulation for the man they are begging to see coronated at the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

It really does seem too easy for Mbappe. Imagine if he can make things look that easy against the low blocks of LaLiga. Cadiz and Getafe are shaking…

The three words every Real Madrid fan is hanging onto. I cannot wait to see what Twitter will look like when the day finally happens. Or am I supposed to hedge my bets and say “if”? Oh well, I am a Madridista. I am nothing if not annoyingly confident.

There were also great reactions for a player who will be joining Real Madrid this summer, almost guaranteed. Antonio Rudiger’s move already received the famous “Here We Go”.

The Chelsea center back faced Liverpool in the FA Cup Final, and while the Blues did not win, Rudiger was instrumental in his team keeping Jurgen Klopp’s side off the scoresheet for 120 minutes. He earned the most plaudits for one ridiculous display of speed and tenacious defending to tackle Liverpool winger Sadio Mane.

Rudiger finished the game with two tackles, one interception, and 88.7 percent of his 62 pass attempts completed (six of eight long balls). That is Real Madrid material right there.

It’s safe to say that with each passing performance, Rudiger is becoming an even more exciting prospect for Madridistas. His display against them in the Champions League convinced Carlo Ancelotti and the club, and he is only proving them right.

Maybe this is a conversation to have…

David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao, and Nacho Fernandez. That is the best group of center backs in the Champions League, sorry Liverpool!

And that is NOT easy to do!

Even LaLiga’s scariest forwards will be afraid of Rudiger. The man has that Sergio Ramos-like fire inside of him.

Real Madrid are already Champions League finalists and LaLiga champions in 2021/22, and they will be bringing in these two superstars.

The future is bright…
