MILAN LUCIC ON GAME 7 WITH THE STARS:

ON THE PRESSURE THAT COMES WITH IT:

"You want to have emotion, but there's a balance, you know? You want to have the emotion and are bottling it up and using it in the right way, and not letting it get the best of you. You remember when you're a kid and you're about to run a big race, and you feel like you get punched in the stomach before you start. It's that kind of feeling. You want to bottle that up and put it into a positive thing and this is a time when big players make big plays and get it done."

ON IMPORTANCE OF THIS GAME AFTER BIG SEASON:

"It's real important. Obviously, we've done a great job all season long playing the right way and playing the way we've needed to play and wanted to play to give ourselves success. We've talked a lot about building an identity and building a foundation to give us success. That's something that we need to lean back on more than ever heading into this game tomorrow. It's something that we've been preparing for all season long, and here it is, and the time is now."

ON THE GUYS BEING LOOSE:

"It can go one of two ways. If you're over-thinking it or feeling the pressure, that's when you let the emotion and pressure get the best of you and you're not doing what you need to do to give yourself and your team success. Today is a day when you kind of have to be loose and kind of unwind so that you're ready to go tomorrow."

"You obviously know it's a do-or-die game"

ON HIS FAVOURITE GAME 7 MEMORIES:

"As a Vancouver kid, the first one I remember is the Pavel Bure overtime goal against Calgary in '94. Sorry to bring that one up (laughs). That one was a big one. And then you think about all the Game 7's like Ray Bourque's Game 7 win in 2001 with Colorado to win the Stanley Cup there, and then Marty Gelinas scoring a Game 7 OT winner in Vancouver in 2004. Just big Game 7 moments like that. You talk about certain guys, sometimes it's someone completely different stepping up like Mike Rupp scoring the game-winner in Game 7 goal in 2003 for New Jersey to win the Stanley Cup.
"There's obviously some memories I have as a kid and teenager watching hockey growing up and I'm sure there will be some more storylines tonight and tomorrow."

MIKAEL BACKLUND ON COMING HOME FOR GAME 7:

"Just excited. It's going to be awesome playing in front of the C of Red again. We wanted to finish it last night, but it is what it is and now we've got to come out tomorrow and play our best game so far."

"We need to bring our best game"

DARRY SUTTER ON BELIEF IN THE ROOM:

"You get to Game 7. There's a lot of belief, always. That's the best part. This series deserves to have a Game 7. The score is 12-12."

ON WEIGHT OF THE MOMENT:

"Just get in the moment and in some ways, enjoy it. But in the other way, step up, too.
"For guys that haven't been in Game 7's, it's time to step up, too. If there's guys in a series that haven't been as productive as they'd like, it's an opportunity to be a hero.
"Pressure's a good thing. In the long run, that's what separates you. I've been involved in several of those Game 7's, so that's what's - in the end - where you stand in the league, too, as a player."

"This series deserves to have a Game 7"

ON PREPARING FOR THE OPPORTUNITY:

"I think there's a reason you get to a Game 7. That's your structure, your foundation, the things you talk about. You have that in the bank, always."
