Three shot in Harrisburg Friday night: police

Three people were shot in three separate incidents in Harrisburg within a span of 11 hours, according to Harrisburg police.

The first incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, and the third happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police said.

All three injured were boys under the age of 18.

“It’s my understanding all of the victims were transported to local hospitals, and expected to survive,” Lt. Kyle Gautsch wrote in an email. “All of the incidents are under active investigation.”

Here is the timeline of the shootings:

  • 3:30 pm May 13, a shooting in the 1900 block of N. 4th St
  • 8:30 pm May 13, a shooting in the 2000 block of Chestnut St
  • 2:30 am May 14, a shooting in the 600 block of Dauphin St
