A 35-year-old Centralia man has been arrested at the Marion County Probation Office on a petition to revoke his probation on a possession of methamphetamine conviction. Terry Bierman of Greenview Road was taken to the Marion County Jail where he posted $2,000 cash bond and was released.
The Salem Fire Protection District was called to a small grass fire outside the fence of the Ameren Substation on the Nation Road near the Selmaville Road intersection. Firemen say the fire was quickly extinguished and never threatened to get inside the substation.
