The Royal Opera has announced a cast change for its concert performance of Verdi’s “Attila.”

The company noted that Maria José Siri will sing the role of Odabella replacing Sondra Radvanovsky.

Siri took to social media to announce that it will be her debut at the London house and said, “Dear friends I am happy to announce that I will be making my debut at the Royal Opera House as Odabella in the production of Attila in concert. See you there.”

Siri has performed the role at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and Festival Verdi in Parma.

The soprano joins a cast that includes Ildar Abdrazakov, Maria José Siri, Simon Keenlyside, Joseph Calleja, and Egor Zhuravskii. Speranza Scappucci conducts.

“Attila” will be performed on July 19 & 22, 2022.
